The artist was born on October 9, 1973, in Sint Niklaas.
He graduated in Ghent in 1996 as Ind. Ing.
He is largely self-taught and learned to draw from books as a child.
Blessed with a rich imagination, his subjects were mainly fictional characters at the time, where he is now more concerned with observation signs.
His main subject is the human being, and more specifically the naked female figure.
Since 2008 he has also been following the lessons of figure drawing in Oostkamp, led by Tinus Vermeersch (grandson of the renowned José Vermeersch).
The artist is fascinated by the rich history of drawing and finds inspiration from artists such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Van Dijck, Rembrandt, as well as from Mucha's Art Nouveau, and in the figures of Egon Schiele.
