Stylistically, he has gone through periods of great chromatic explosion, currently reaching pure monochromatism. His paintings are figurative, drawing being one of his most important qualities. Joan Pérez uses only acrylics and charcoal on canvas, expressing through his work ideas that have to do with the psychology of people.
