Profondément marqué par ces horreurs de migration, en témoignage et pour ne pas oublier, j'ai posé sur la toile cet épouvantable moment où dans un geste désespéré un homme tient à bout de bras un enfant, probablement le sien, pour lui laisser encore une chance d'être sauvé de la noyade. Mon espoir pour ceux là, est, que j'ai interprété[...]
Profondément marqué par ces horreurs de migration, en témoignage et pour ne pas oublier, j'ai posé sur la toile cet épouvantable moment où dans un geste désespéré un homme tient à bout de bras un enfant, probablement le sien, pour lui laisser encore une chance d'être sauvé de la noyade. Mon espoir pour ceux là, est, que j'ai interprété une photo de presse, j'ose espérer que le photographe était sur un bateau proche et qu'ils ont pu être sauvés. J'ai donné le titre "d'un enfer à l'autre" , cet enfer existe toujours en Manche ou Méditerranée, est-il moins pire sur une rive plus que sur l'autre pour ceux qui réussissent? Mais hélas il est pour beaucoup au fond de la mer?
Le flouté de la peinture veut exprimer la cécité désespérante de beaucoup de nations et d'individus.
Je ne souhaite pas spéculer sur ce sujet. A l'acquéreur qui saura lui trouver une place utile pour témoigner de ces drames, je m'engage à faire don de la vente à la croix rouge et de justifier le don.
