Née à Bizerte (Tunisie) en 1966, Bourguignonne depuis 1970, j’ai été initiée par un père potier à travailler la terre dès mon plus jeune âge. Je façonne, sculpte tous types de matériaux. Créer répond à un besoin de combler un vide, une absence.

Tardivement, je me suis intéressée à la peinture. Autodidacte, je me sens libre et affranchie de tout carcan. La peinture est pour moi une démarche totalement intuitive.
Je l’envisage comme un outil artistique de « psycho - diagnostic », un voyage introspectif, un peu à la manière d’un test de Rorschach, une décharge émotionnelle en réponse à des stimuli visuels.

J’aime l’abstrait parce qu’il ne souffre aucune limite. Le choix de la peinture acrylique répond à une grande impatience. Cela n’entrave ni mon élan, ni l’énergie libérée.

Born in Bizerte (Tunisia) in 1966, Burgundian since 1970, I started working with clay very young, initiated by my father who was a potter. I shape and sculpt every type of materials. For me, creating answers a need of filling a gap, an emptiness.

I went interested in painting much later. Being self-taught allows me to feel free and to work without any boundary.

I see painting as a totally intuitive approach and use it as an artistic tool of "psychological diagnosis". This introspective journey, quite like a test of Rorschach, triggers an emotional discharge in response to a visual stimulus.

I favour abstract art because it knows no limit. The choice of acrylic paint meets my impulsive temper. Hence it does not strangle neither my inspiration nor the energy I release.
