Jacques Villares
Cormeilles in Parisis (France, 1967). Civil Engineer, Canals and Ports by profession and self-taught as a painter. My beginnings were marked by the observation of my father's watercolors, he was the “culprit”.
A period of more than 20 years without picking up a pencil disconnected me from painting. In 2013 I tried to paint again and... until today.

2014, Finalist in the Móstoles Rapid Painting Contest 2014 with the work Camino de Guadalupe.
2015, Diploma and Honorable Mention in the Móstoles Rapid Painting contest, with the work Nuestra Ermita.
2015, Third Prize in the VI Fundació Barcelona Olímpica · Art on paper, with the work Scrum. 2015, Selected for the Biennale Castra 2015 exhibition (Slovenia), with the work Gran Vía.
2015, Selected for the 1st International Watercolor Society India Biennale 2015 exhibition, with the work Calles de Bombay.

Biography

Sala Exterior de Exposiciones de la Casa de Cultura de San Lorenzo de El Escorial, C/ Floridablanca, 3. Madrid, España.
Exposición colectiva en la que participo con magníficos artistas y amigos. Si estáis por San Lorenzo del Escorial o alrdedores (hasta Moscú, vamos), os lo recomiendo. Nos vemos por allí !!! (viernes 16 a las 19:30 h en la Sala Exterior de Exposiciones de la Casa de Cultura de San Lorenzo de El Escorial, C/ Floridablanca, 3). Estará abierto hasta el jueves 22 de septiembre de 2016.

Obra Seleccionada en Concurso de Pintura Rápida de Móstoles 2014
Pues al final la han seleccionado !!. Se expondrá en el museo de Móstoles del 3 al 27 de julio. No me lo esperaba, había muy buenos trabajos. Acuarelas 4 de 40 ... . El segundo premio ha sido para Pablo Rubén López Sanz con un trabajo impresionante !. Había tanta gente delante que no he podido hacer la foto.
Ha sido una experiencia genial. Me quito el sombrero ante todos vosotros que concursáis asiduamente. Desde las 8 hasta las 3 de la tarde. He acabado derrengado ...
La gente genial, a alguno le ha faltado ponerse a pintar conmigo, ¡ hasta cervezas me querían llevar! (Me he negado porque me conozco, jajaja). Os dejo la foto. El original no está tan "retorcido" pero no se qué leshes ha pasado...
