The pastels and oil paintings of Jacques Tange do think through the clear color use and the graceful arabesques of medieval miniatures in beautiful illuminated handwriting. Its compositions as a music piece built up be and take the viewer with to a dream world of desire and nostalgia. A world of mysterious sensuality, sluggish temptation and superior indifference.

Self says Tange: ‘The time stands in my paintings just alleviate; I freeze the image. In many cases feel you at that there just something happened is whether it something will happen. The most images have not stop an errand, already I that it all too conscious in. Often are they a comment on the manner on which men and women in this society with each other go around.’
