Biography
I started with drawing (Beaux-Arts Versailles) then I discovered watercolour, a field in which I revealed myself.
In forty years, I' I was a member of several painting academies and many times rewarded. I also ran a watercolor workshop for more than 10 years in Toulouse.
My paintings, oils and watercolors, covering a range of colors and passions in varied themes with multiple inspirations. They start from the figurative to approach the abstract in a sure gesture supported by shimmering colors, and are present in many private collections.

Magnifiques aquarelles. Des paysages enchantés dans lesquels le regard se promène avec plaisir... Grande maîtrise de la lumière, notamment dans les peintures de rivière ou de neige, mes préférées. Et l'influence de TURNER, qui donne une grande profondeur aux oeuvres de Jacqueline Baby.
Oui, la "lumière" de Turner s'est invitée dans l'oeuvre de Jacqueline Baby.
Ce n'est pas l'Artiste ( trop modeste sans doute) qui vous le dira.
Mais on la reconnait clairement ici et là. Pour ne pas dire: haut-delà !
Il ne suffit pas, pour cela, d'ouvrir l'oeil... Mais de la recevoir dans le Regard porté.
Super choix de couleurs, j'aime beaucoup l'effet texture aussi.
