Iure Cormic is a contemporary award-winning Italian painter. Cormic has always had a great passion for Pop Art, influenced and fascinated by American and Italian and Roman Pop Art (Mario Schifano, Tano Festa, Franco Angeli, Jannis Kounellis). This interest prompted him to study the various genres of Pop and Street Art, making a critical analysis of them.
Concept that contemporary art is a market, especially pop and street art, starting from the idea of social denunciation, also against the art market, becoming its victim and architect, is visible in his works: Art and Stripes, Jungle devolved, Help my Shop. In other works, other areas of contemporary society, the world of entertainment, cinema, luxury and consumerism are described and stressed.
