Représente une petite fille ou jeune fille entourée de carpes koï et d'eau.
Les carpes ainsi que l'eau sont rehaussées de fragments de feuilles d'argent.
"Il y a plusieurs façons d'être muette :
parce qu'on a un handicap qui nous empêche l'accès à la parole
parce qu'on ne peut pas en placer une
parce qu'on a pas la liberté de s'exprimer
ou encore parce qu'on a juste rien envie de dire !
Ce tableau a longtemps mûri dans ma tête avant de prendre vie sur la toile : je souhaitais illustrer le mutisme, et j'ai donc naturellement pensé aux carpes... ne dit-on pas "muet comme une carpe" ?
Oui mais les carpes, c'est trop moche, j'ai donc pensé aux carpes Koï, c'est un peu mieux !
Et puis je suis rendue compte que peu de temps avant, j'avais lu "Métaphysique des tubes" d'Amélie Nothomb... et que cette scène correspond au moment ou elle se noie dans le bassin des carpes ! Cette version colle aussi à mon tableau, puisqu'Amélie Nothomb évoque dans ce livre sa drôle de façon d'accéder au langage...
Alors, association d'idées ou pas, peu importe finalement, j'aurais pu appeler mon tableau "Amélie", et puis finalement je garde "Muette", c'est plus universel ! "

Born in 1966 and currently living in Auvergne, I studied art at the School of Fine Arts in Nantes, in a few private workshops, but most of my learning comes from my personal research and experimentation. After practicing for ten years as a graphic designer, I have devoted myself to drawing and painting since 2006.
My current work is divided into several distinct parts: portraits of after photo on order, via my site "L'atelier d'isa", painting, also including mixed techniques, and finally the creation of decorations including various artisanal techniques.
I also make demos for the magazine "Pleasures of painting".
I participated in some collective exhibitions, and also organize some personal exhibitions. I sell my work today mainly directly or via the internet.
Through my painting, I want to offer a moment of escape, let everyone's imagination run free. ;invent a story, a sequel, a past... and give way to poetry and sweetness.
My subjects often take on the face of childhood, or young girls, landscapes, of objects and animals. My inspirations often come from dreams, fairy tales, but also life stories, the idea of memory, timelessness... The stars, the sun, the wind, the rain, s& #039; sometimes invite in my compositions, as well as the crowns of kings or princesses of imaginary kingdoms. I also like to mix genres and eras...
