"Le temps des corsets" (2012) Painting by Isabelle Milloz

Born in 1966 and currently living in Auvergne, I studied art at the School of Fine Arts in Nantes, in a few private workshops, but most of my learning comes from my personal research and experimentation. After practicing for ten years as a graphic designer, I have devoted myself to drawing and painting since 2006.

My current work is divided into several distinct parts: portraits of after photo on order, via my site "L'atelier d'isa", painting, also including mixed techniques, and finally the creation of decorations including various artisanal techniques.

I also make demos for the magazine "Pleasures of painting".

I participated in some collective exhibitions, and also organize some personal exhibitions. I sell my work today mainly directly or via the internet.

Through my painting, I want to offer a moment of escape, let everyone's imagination run free. ;invent a story, a sequel, a past... and give way to poetry and sweetness.

My subjects often take on the face of childhood, or young girls, landscapes, of objects and animals. My inspirations often come from dreams, fairy tales, but also life stories, the idea of memory, timelessness... The stars, the sun, the wind, the rain, s& #039; sometimes invite in my compositions, as well as the crowns of kings or princesses of imaginary kingdoms. I also like to mix genres and eras...
