Very impressed by the pictures painted by my grandmother in Indochina, I inherited her box of oils. My family refused me to present the fine arts. It was not a job or a place for a young girl in 1970. It was enough to integrate Penninghen.

Painting is above all not a job , besides I have my job as a teacher in Applied Arts.

It's a deliberately free act, a way of being able to express something that seems obvious to me and that others don't see and that is updated by a process of updating. damages or intervenes the memory that mixes with the present moment. A kind of digestion at some point.

My first discovery was Lacquer, its material beauty, a rare and complete technique. (engraving gilding Coromandel) Then apprenticed in the job of lacquerer at ENSAAMA, diploma from the school, then job at the Saint Sabin workshops for Jansen in Paris, and Chaumet in restoration and creation.

I very early in 1978 initiated a creativity workshop using only recycled materials...influenced by outsider art, I endeavored to understand what is the source of the material. art, the creative moment...or the need to do, to empty oneself, to remember and to heal oneself through the materialization of a thought that tries to hold back time.

I don't I am constantly enriching my knowledge with old-fashioned painting at Pôle Atelier. At that time I participated in several small competitions on the banks of the Seine with prizes.

At the same time I discovered Engraving at the Maurice Denis Museum in Saint Germain en Laye. ..then to the ETR Ballistic workshop. Various stays in America, Spain, Tunisia enrich my memories.

Copper engraving is a way for me to reassess my impression with each print because "to start again is not to redo" ; (César) especially since the technique is artisanal.

Since 2013 you can find me in the engraving section at Art en Capital grand palais Paris every year in February.
