Description: Something that does not stop fascinating me of Australia is how cities are designed for their inhabitants to enjoy them. This is reflected both in the number of green spaces and coastal areas, where enviable houses are at a sufficient distance from the ocean to allow a continuous walk. Along that walk, there are periodically free barbecues, parks for children and toilets, even free swimming pools in the north, among other amenities. I was in one of these urban coastal areas when a pelican passed overhead. It is a common bird in Australia, but not for that matter any less colossal, since its wingspan can reach 2.6 meters and it can weigh up to 13 kg, thus becoming one of the heaviest creatures able to fly. The image shows one of these giant birds floating lightly above the beautiful facade of a noble building. This work's title interprets what the pelican might feel when flying over the winged sculptures. Significance of the artwork: This artwork shows us that we all have something to feel proud of regardless of who we are or what we have. - Glicée print (12 pigmented inks) using museum quality paper Canson Infinity Baryta Photographique 310 g / m2 (satin) - Also available framed by the author if requested. - Please note that the image size is 66.7x100 cm and the total size is 74x111.8 cm (including white border) ------ Something that continues to fascinate me about Australia is how it facilitates the enjoyment of people in cities. This is reflected both in the amount of green areas and in the coastal areas, where the enviable houses are far enough away from the ocean to allow a continuous walk in which free barbecues, playgrounds for children and toilets are interspersed every few hundred meters. public, among other attractions. In one of these urban coastal areas I was when a pelican passed almost overhead, soaring through the air. It is a common bird in Australia, but no less colossal, since it can reach wingspan of up to 2.6 meters and weights of up to 13 kg, thus becoming one of the heaviest beings capable of taking flight. The image shows one of these giant birds floating lightly on the beautiful facade of a noble building. The title of this work comes to interpret what the pelican could feel when flying over the winged sculptures under its feathers.
