Johanne Beaujard, alias Johanne8, is a contemporary French artist. She is drawing inspiration from the different kinds of candies she likes to stick on canvases in order to provide more relief to her creations (Milky Way, Bounty, Galak, Mars, etc.). Her world also includes Pulp, 1950s comics, worldwide news, significant social topics, and references to artists like Basquiat, Warhol, Lichtenstein, Erro, or Julio Le Parc who have always been an influence on her.
Johanne Beaujard Johanne8 was born in 1974, in Lyon, France. Since 2008, she has exhibited her paintings and sculptures in prestigious galleries. From Melbourne to Barcelona via Lausanne or Geneva, as well as in France: in Paris, Deauville, Megève, Courchevel, Arcachon, her works are on display.
