Henri Remi, a passionate artist, was born in Marseille, lulled by the gentle caresses of the Mediterranean Sea in a neighborhood which had for him the exceptional quality of being by the sea. His youth was spent entirely in this seaside environment, with a small fishing boat anchored in the old Port, creating memories imbued with the salty smell and the sea breeze.

The other jewel of his childhood was in the hills of Provence, with his Grandparents, where he spent summers bathed in sunshine. It was there that an unwavering love for seascapes and Provençal scrubland germinated in him, a passion that would become an inexhaustible source of inspiration in his life as an artist.

However, his professional career took him to Paris, where he worked as a civil engineer. The City of Lights also became a muse for Henri, offering him a new artistic perspective. Working near the Louvre, he was a member of the "Friends of the Louvre", which granted him free access to the museum. He enjoyed it once or twice a week, particularly at meal times. Sometimes he would linger in a single room, carefully studying a particular style or artist. These moments at the Louvre profoundly enriched his understanding of art.

Today, back in the Var, Henri Remi can finally devote himself entirely to his passion for painting. He is an artist who lets his heart and soul speak through his canvases, capturing the beauty of the sea and the Provençal landscapes which have always inspired him. Each brushstroke is a declaration of love to nature and art, a tribute to sunny Provence and the splendor of the Mediterranean coastline. Henri Remi finds fulfillment in artistic creation, sharing his unique vision of the world with the public, and expressing the richness of his life experience through each canvas.
