Jacqueline Giudicelli is a woman artist photographer, member of the "French Artists", Member of the "APA", Association for ancient processes Very young, she was passionate about photography and painting. Painting was for her the best school of photography, she learned there to refine her gaze on what surrounds her, composition, perspective, rigor and freedom of interpretation.
In search of something other than simple photography, she discovered the so-called "old" processes, gum bichromate, cyanotype, charcoal. She practiced gum dichromate for more than twenty years with happiness and success. This interpretation process combines the tools of the photographer and those of the painter: watercolor paper, brushes, pigments, gum arabic, dichromate of potassium, UV lamp. Faced with the passing of time, this timeless process takes on symbolic value.
She has no favorite subjects, she works instinctively, from the heart, landscapes or characters bring her the same questions. She has mainly worked in Venice, Corsica and Paris Whatever the photographic technique used, film, rubber or digital, her gaze is the same, passionate and demanding.
Jacqueline Giudicelli is a Corsican artist born in Paris (France) in 1941. She has participated in numerous exhibitions both in France and abroad. In 1999, she received a gold medal for her work at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris.
