For Gotié, the canvas is a sensitive window that opens onto his world.
A world that first questions itself: how to seize its own freedom? What meaning should we give to our existence? How can we make the energies and emotions that inhabit and surround us perceptible? A world that is also invented through the play of colors and materials, and gives us the measure to glimpse the unspeakable reality that is in each of us.
Self-taught painter since 2004, Gotié works in projection of colors and pigments on canvas, metal and wood.
