Truffle says:
“ I have already presented you my pet Popo, the tiny pink hippopotamus. But apart from Popo, we have a big menagerie here at home. Lovely animals Miki and Kevin has rescued along their life paths...
One of them is Mary the Scottish sheep. Kevin and Miki found her one day in the North of Scotland. She was sitting on a big stone by the road in front of a nice house with closed shutters. She looked so sad. They stopped and asked why she was sad. Mary explained that her friend, the owner of the house, was gone and had never come back. She said she felt so lonely...
Miki and Kevin asked her if she wanted to come and lived with them in Spain. She said yes, and so she drove with them all the way back to the South of Spain.
Mary has still a sad face, somehow. I think she feels homesick. Missing the green and the rain probably... we hardly have any of them in our Andalusian desert!
But at least, she has a lovely home, surrounded by people who love her. I wished though I could make her smile, but I don't know how. I have tried with whisky, but Mary does not like it. I have no experience with girls, and even less with Scottish girls. Can somebody give me a tip?
Love you all
xx

Miki De Goodaboom is a contemporary French artist. For Miki, painting serves as a reflective canvas, mirroring the perpetual ebb and flow of her existence - a dance between light and shadow, lines and shapes, times and places. In her art, she ceaselessly seeks equilibrium, a delicate balance found only in continuous movement, in the enigmatic realms of the mysterious and the unknown. Her life unfolds as a narrative woven between two profound passions: mathematics and painting. The former, a supreme form of abstract art, governs her universe, dictating the rules of her cosmic journey. The latter emerges as a means of crystallizing the beauty inherent in that mathematical art, capturing its essence on the canvas of her imagination.
Miki De Goodaboom's art transcends geographical boundaries, and her paintings serve as universal expressions that resonate with viewers worldwide. Her unique ability to encapsulate the essence of her passions within her art makes each piece a testament to the intricate tapestry of her life - a life painted with strokes of creativity, mathematical precision, and an unwavering commitment to capturing the profound beauty found in the harmonious interplay of shapes and colors.
