Ronda is a fabulous little town in Andalusia, with spectacular views and architecture. American artists Ernest Hemingway and Orson Welles spent many summers there, writing about Ronda's beauty and contributing to Ronda's popularity over time.
In May 2005 I spent 10 days in a beautiful finca by Ronda, but I didn't paint much of the town itself at that time. I will have to go back one day. But recently, I found a series of gouache and watercolour mini-paintings done there, inspired by the landscapes around Ronda (I suppose!).
