Faraglioni di Acitrezza Painting by Giuseppa Matraxia

Giuseppa Matraxia was born in San Giovanni Gemini (Agrigento) on May 1, 1955, she moved to Palermo at the age of thirteen where she still lives.
Growing up in close contact with nature, she transfers her interest in the following years of her life, when she faces the world of art. From a young age he was passionate about painting from life, especially landscape painters
of the nineteenth century French, Italian and English.
The love for painting is as great as that for his land, and his canvases are proof of this, where many of the most interesting glimpses of the island are represented, always trying to capture the most evocative moments.
His works appear in various private collections in Italy and abroad and at the Sciortino Modern Art Gallery in Monreale.
