Brigitte Gicquiaud is a multidisciplinary artist who has always been attracted to art in various forms, whether photography, drawing or painting. Her passion for artistic expression has guided her throughout her life, pushing her to explore different techniques and mediums to bring her creativity to life.

She began her artistic journey by immersing herself in the world of photography, a passion that still accompanies her today. However, in the 90s, Brigitte decided to explore figurative oil painting. Her beginnings in painting were focused on faithfully representing what she observed, but over time she evolved towards a more free and expressive style.

In her works, Brigitte Gicquiaud seeks to evoke more than simply reproduce reality. She favors an "alla prima" approach, characterized by a spontaneous and dynamic execution, with impastos that transform into luminous explosions on the canvas. His work is distinguished by an expression freed from the constraints of details, favoring color and light to transmit his emotions and his artistic vision.
