Un ricerca sul colore per ciò che ci è possibile intuire
Gentile Polo (Mezzolombardo, 05.04.1954 - ) si diploma, come studente lavoratore, all’Istituto d’Arte Vittoria di Trento nel 1976 in Decorazione Pittorica.
Nel 1990 inizia l’attività di decoratore eseguendo lavori che vanno dai murales, alla decorazione al restauro pittorico di palazzi in Lombardia, Trentino, fino in Baviera.
Nel 2004 ottiene dall’A.N.A.E.P.A. (Associazione Nazionale Artigiani dell'Edilizia dei decoratori, dei Pittori e Attività Affini) il prestigioso riconoscimento “Spatola d’Argento” per l’impegno svolto nella propria categoria oltre che docente presso CentroFor (Centro di formazione dei lavoratori dipendenti per la sicurezza e benessere sul lavoro) di Trento.
Dal 2007 ad oggi tiene diverse personali e collettive di pittura a Mezzocorona, Dusslingen (Germania), Etiopia (Africa), a Trieste in collaborazione con Enzo Dente per “Artisti a confronto” organizzata dall’Associazione culturale Carpe Artem, con la cura critica di Monica Zaulovic; e ancora a Fraveggio (Vezzano), Roveré della Luna realizzando il bassorilievo commemorativo della famiglia Bronzetti, Borgo presso lo spazio Klien, Stenico, Villa Lagarina nel 2016 con Helena Gath a Palazzo Libera; infine torna in collettive a Bologna, Ancona e di nuovo a Trento.
Dal 2011al 2016 partecipa alla mostra internazionale “La via Claudia Augusta dal 46 d.C. al 2046”, itinerante in varie città italiane, austriache e tedesche e collabora sul campo con varie associazioni umanitarie in Etiopia (Africa).
Contestualmente scrive importanti relazioni sul colore e il rapporto tra composizioni legate agli equilibri delle luci attraverso la memoria.
