Né en 1935, ce peintre de formation « Arts Déco. » s'est fait connaître de façon internationale (après plus de 100 expositions « personnelles »), par une peinture figurative dont le succès ne s'est jamais démenti, aussi bien en Europe qu'aux États-Unis et en Asie. Coté I-CAC, il figure aux dictionnaires BENEZIT et DELARGE. Parallèlement à ce travail, et par souci et besoin d'éclectisme, il a, depuis plus de 50 ans, travaillé une forme de peinture issue de l’ « Abstraction lyrique » ... Il apporte à la « composition » de ses tableaux comme au choix des couleurs, un soin particulier, tout en balayant la toile d’une gestuelle qui semble parfois mettre ses images en mouvement.

Biography
Alain Tenurb-Geneau is a contemporary French painter. After more than 100 personal exhibitions of figurative painting throughout Europe, the US and Asia, he gained recognition on an international market. In addition to this endeavor, he has been working on a style of painting that evolved from lyrical abstraction for more than 50 years.
He gives his composition and color selection special attention, and when he sweeps the canvas, it gives the impression that his paintings are moving. The artist does not assert any message, reserving for himself the pleasure of painting in the hope that others will also enjoy it for those for whom art must, under any conditions, deliver moments of serenity and well-being.
Alain Tenurb-Geneau was born in 1935, in France. His paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Belgium, Switzerland, the United States, Japan, Luxembourg, and China.
