The source of inspiration for this work was the real images of the people of the Dead Sea. Before starting, I made a lot of sketches from nature.
Galya Didur is a contemporary award-winning Russian painter. She works in a figurative abstract style. Galya Didur was born in 1961, in Ukraine, where she graduated from the Kharkov Art Academy (Monumental Decorative Painting). Her artworks were exhibited all around the world, including in the Museum of Russian Art (Jersey City, USA), and may be found in the private collections in the USA, Canada, Israel, France, Switzerland, Germany, Russia. She lives and works in Israel.
