In the fine arts of Western Asia, a well-known distribution has a visual image of a bottle with spirals of smoke emanating from it, symbolizing the liberation of the spirit from the body; this image is closely associated with stories about genies and as such has become firmly established in modern popular culture.

Galya Didur is a contemporary award-winning Russian painter. She works in a figurative abstract style. Didur won numerous awards and mentions for her works: Mention 2017 Salon des Artistes Français “Art en capital”, Grand Palais, Paris; Prix de la Fondation Paul Paté 2015: Salon des Artistes Français “Art en capital”, Grand Palais, Paris; Mention 2017 Salon des Artistes Français “Art en capital”, Grand Palais, Paris; “la Toile d'or” de l'année 2014: Salon des Artistes Français “Art en Capital”, Paris; 2nd prize Acrylique 2011: Arts Festival “Transformation”, La Ferte Bernard, France (Nomination pour sa technique de peinture Acryl).

Galya Didur was born in 1961, in Ukraine, where she graduated from the Kharkov Art Academy (Monumental Decorative Painting). Her artworks were exhibited all around the world, including in the Museum of Russian Art (Jersey City, USA), and may be found in the private collections in the USA, Canada, Israel, France, Switzerland, Germany, Russia. She lives and works in Israel.
