Gennady Troshkov was born in 1947 in Moldova.
1969 graduated from the Krasnodar Art College.
Since 1975 - a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
Since 1972. Participated in many exhibitions in Russia and abroad, collective and personal.
Lives in Moscow, works in various genres of fine arts :
painting, graphics, sculpture, tapestry. Presented in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Pushkin Museum im
Pushkin, the Museum of Decorative and Applied Arts and many other public, corporate and private collections in Russia and other countries.

In 2003 he received the "Margaret Phillip Klimek Felloships" award.USA.
