Laurent Frison is a painter and photographer born October 2, 1964 in Poitiers, France. Since childhood he was attracted to drawing, but it was not until 1993 that he began to indulge in the art of painting. At first, he practiced as a hobbyist, but he decided to invest himself more completely from 2002.

Entirely self-taught, Laurent Frison mainly uses dry pastel, watercolour, chalk and pencil. He excels in exploring different painting and drawing techniques, creating unique and fascinating works of art.

For a time he focused on hyper-realism in animal portraiture, but he has since broadened his artistic horizon and now explores different styles. With an exceptional mastery of colors and textures, his works are absolutely beautiful and fascinating.

Laurent Frison lives and works in La Londe les Maures, France, where he finds inspiration in the beauty of the nature that surrounds him.
