31.5x31.5x0.8 in ©2018 by Marcello Carrozzini. I don’t paint artworks… In fact, I feel that I rather tell stories; mine, yours… and these stories are triggered by a remote memory, from an old rediscovered book, an obsessive tune, a poem or a game that belongs to childhood. This painting is a personal interpretation of the Noah's Ark narrative through which God spares Noah, his family, and examples of all the world's animals from a world-engulfing flood, executed in a semi-abstract style in a warm gray and brown palette to emphasize the epic aspect of the legend.
