Fadilja Kajosevic

Painting has been my passion since I was 5 years old. As a child,I loved creating things using disposable items around me. I would gather different objects, ash from burnt wood, soil, flower remnants, grass, leaves, and other scraps in order to create images on paper. In the late 80’s, early 90's, I reignited this passion and began painting watercolors on paper and canvas using more common media Painting; for me goes beyond a form of expression. It brightens my mood, calms a storm, and softens the hard moments in life. My Art is meant to be inspirational, and I hope that it will provide freedom and spiritual healing to those who are moved by it. Music and poem express emotions ranging from pain and suffering to happiness. I use colors in my paintings to effectuate those same feelings of emotions. Warm and bold tones and the array of colors in between offer a new story to each person in its view. I love how a single painting can mean something so different to two people standing side by side.
Artist, Expressionist, my art blends artistic conversation and styles with some modern elements purposely injected. Each figurative painting is executed with a sense of elegance and detail and carries an expressionist style with a wide range of mixed media.
