Ernst Kruijff is a contemporary Dutch artist. His artworks combine and contrast many design concepts and creative materials, drawing inspiration from Nordic and Japanese design. To create a synthesis between painting and drawing techniques, he combines sumi-e ink, acrylic paint, acrylic paint markers, and fine liners.

The artist compares the clarity and nearly technical aspect of drawing and graphic design to the fluidity and vibrancy of painting. This combination is not only visible in the contrast between styles, but also the compositions of the many pictorial elements, from organic shapes to basic geometric and architectural aspects.

Ernst Kruijff’s artworks can be found in Europe, USA and Canada in private collections and corporate buildings.
