LES CABANES DE MORNAC (2018) Painting by Ervalena

Daughter of Michel MARE architect and painter and grand-daughter of Andre MARE decorator and painter, born in 1954, Anne-Laure BAYART-MARE waited for a long time before she began painting under the pseudonym " Ervalena".
She always bathed in an artistic atmosphere and liked to draw. In 2002 she attended Isabelle FROT (today she lives at Montreal, Canada), painter's atelier, Noisy-le-Grand (93) during 4 years . After having painted many watercolours and filled travels notebooks since 2005, she began to paint in a resolutely abstract and oneiric painting, strongly inspired by KLEE, KLIMT, KANDINSKI, GAUGUIN, ZAO WOU KI, VAN GOGH, TURNER..... She likes working on opposition of colors, shade, light and depth.
