"Bleu soufré" est une création abstraite. La partie blanche est comme une porte ouverte vers un infini. Encadrée d'argent et de bleu, l'atmosphère du tableau est paisible. Emma Lapassouze is a contemporary award-winning French artist. Her artistic universe is a mixture of pictorial creations, sculpted assemblages and installations, which draw their roots from an interest in Matter and Materials. She sailed for a long time between these two artistic currents: "Matiérism" and Lyrical Abstraction to finally bring Matter out of the frame.

Her recent works question our relationship to the Living, to humans to our environment, to connections with our interior and exterior space. Lapassouze paints spaces of connections using her favorite material: coffee grounds. She integrates body impressions into her paintings, sculpt dead wood, associate shards of glass, stones, plaster, trying to inject a form of energy into seemingly inert elements.

Emma Lapassouze was born in 1978, in France, where she got Degree in Plastic Arts Bordeaux. She has exhibited in France, China, Switzerland, Canada, Israel, Belgium and Spain.
