Elvira Baranova
I was born in Vologda, north of Russia. Art has been a part of my life since childhood.
I studied painting, book illustration and animation at Republican College of Art, the Polytechnic University and the Artists Animator's Course at Kiev, Ukraine.
For many years I have lived in several European countries and worked in the traditional 2D animation and illustration before returning to painting.
I moved to New Zealand in 1998 and was working as an animator, illustrator for several animation studios in Wellington and at the same time has experimented in different mediums and techniques (watercolor and acrylic with oil) as a painter.
My first solo exhibition was held at the McGregor Wright Gallery in Wellington, 2001. Since that time I'm a regular exhibitor at the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts and New Zealand's array of galleries and organizations. My paintings are in private collections both within New Zealand and around the world. Also I'm taking part of some international fantasy art exhibitions in Europe.
In 2004 I completed Diploma of Multimedia at the Natcoll Design Technology of Wellington and was employed as a 2D and 3D Matte/Digital Painter, Story-boarder, Character Designer, Concept Artist for Huhu Studios and graphic design artist in the online gaming industry while continuing to pursue my own work as a painter.
Since 2009 I have worked as a full time, professional artist.

Portugal, Spain, Great Britain, New Zealand, Poland will take part in the "GEYSERS OF SUBCONSCIOUSNESS-7"
On display will feature painting, drawing, sculpture, video art, pictures,

Andrei Nekrasov, the Author and organizer of the known international great Art-Project, is the most outrageous and cultic artist and gallerist of the Moscow's "Underground"!
Andrei Nekrasov, who is also a President of the "International Centre of Arts by Andrei Nekrasov", is usually not long in coming but boggles the imagination, and he does it not only with the art lovers of the modern, non-traditional Art, but also with it's genuine representatives.
Andrei Nekrasov keeps in a secret which sort of the spectacle he will arrange, however there is no any doubt that the public will newly be shocked with the extravagant actions and, of course, by the new Surrealistic, Esoteric and Mystical pieces of the modern art.

Philosophy
My works have a slightly surreal flavour. Inspired by the world's myths, fables, and tales of imagination. I desire to create works that will 'delight' or 'enchant' the viewer. I want my paintings to add up to more than a beautiful — it sometimes 'magical' looking works of art.
