INFORMATION ON THE PAINTED AVE.
The mandarin or diamond-mandarin (Taeniopygia guttata) is a small passeriform, member of the family Estrildidae. This bird comes from Australasia and is native to Australia, Timor and Indonesia. It also occurs in Portugal, Brazil, and in the United States as an introduced species.
Mandarin is a small bird, 11 to 12 centimeters long. They are very gregarious birds, and in nature they are never far from the rest of the pack or their partner.
The mandarins are white on the belly and gray speckled black on the back and wings. The tail is black and white. The beak is bright red. Male mandarin differs from female by having orange or brown spots below each eye. The females generally have the clearest beak and the juveniles have the dark brown beak almost black.
In Nature, Mandarin feeds on seeds and grains.

START OF WORK:
I usually use the quadrilateral technique on the screen, and the image to be drawn. looking for a good design on the screen to be painted. in painting I like very much of painting subjects such as animals (birds, tigers, cats etc), flowers, portraits, navies (boats, sea etc). I apply the realistic style of painting, and sometimes I look for impressionism by painting my works with the spatula.
I am self-taught both in drawing and in painting, although I use realism in works, I always apply my canvases, techniques of paintings by great masters, I use smears, glazes, etc.

A cauda é preta e branca.
