Original Artwork refers to any work that is considered authentic and not a copy or imitation of the original works of an artist. Original artwork can be any type of painting, sculpture, performance, or other media. There are many types of original media. Mixed media includes oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. For workshop paintings that bear evidence of master craftsmanship, this attribution must be further qualified. While they may be less valuable for different reasons, reproductions and copies have had a tremendous impact on our experience. They reach a greater audience than originals and act as a tonic against commodification. Original Artwork could also refer to the first work, which is always preceding all others. Born February 1947, raised in a suburb of London, England.
My late husband and I emigrated to Arizona on June, 1996 just one year after an amazing six months backpacking across the United States, which is where I first set eyes on this beautiful state.

My husband and I had a dream; to live and work in the United States.
Harvey wanted to help people. For me who knew?

Following a series of catastrophic events culminating in January, 1998, when my husband passed away after 30 years of marriage. Soon after his death I moved down here to McGuireville, onto the property we bought together.

Following that I spent most of my time in reflection seeking Spiritual guidance.

I feel particularly close Spiritually with the Native American culture and their ceremonies.
I have always loved to paint and decided to return to it after a fifteen year break. Life does seem to get in the way sometimes. I made a decision to study as much as I could from other artist friends. As has been laughingly said to me a few times, if Mother Moses could do it, so could I!!

My work has been displayed at various art shows around Arizona although currently I am not displaying publicly.

My medium is acrylics although I am moving into combining paint with collage. My subjects are my own interpretations of landscapes that I love although I like to experiment with various subjects.

My Mission

To continue growing spiritually and artistically.

Inspiration
My main inspiration is the desert. I fell in love with Arizona the very first time I set eyes on it. I now live in the high desert. It continues to inspire me.
