Fishes appear regularly in my painting. We have a saying: he lives like a fish in water. This proverb is about freedom, prosperity, satisfaction. It usually appears in my acrylic paintings, when I don’t know what I’m going to paint yet: it will simply be a fish.
I using acrylic is a meditative activity where I can follow my spontaneous ideas and go with the flow. This is how these abstract organic forms are born from my unconscious and my very strong and often dominant rational self gives meaning and lifts them from the total abstraction. This creative process is facilitated by the fact that I make my acrylic paintings basically with translucent colors using the glazing technique. The painting is coated with clear acrylic varnish for protection.
The MDF panel is 0.8 cm wide. His side was painted black so the painting framing is not necessary.
This work will be delivered with a signed certificate of authenticity. I ship this works in cardboard boxes carefully wrapped in bubble foil and protect the painting with cardboard.
