Born in Foligno in 1972, she attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia under the guidance of Professor Sauro Cardinali, obtaining a Degree in Painting in 1997 with a grade of 110 cum laude / 110. Thesis on the history of art with the title "The Light Matter in 20th Century Art". Supervisor prof. Bruno Corà. In 1998 he moved to London where he lived until 2003 under the influence of the local artistic currents and movements.
Back in Italy, she alternated for 10 years between working as a clerk in the commercial sector and painting until she left the former definitively in 2013 and devote herself full time to her business.
Thus he began to exhibit in Italy and abroad in prestigious private galleries and public venues, immediately obtaining important recognitions and the approval of specialized critics. In March 2014 he obtained an award from the Director of the Selenograd Gallery and art critic expert in culture of the city of Moscow as an artist who has aroused the greatest interest from the public.
In his works the woman is the central subject: protagonist in scenes of love, expectation, passion, pain, abandonment, desire, perversion. Donatella defines her works born from chaos from confusion: characterized by strong, fast, unfinished, scratchy lines. The artist wishes to arouse emotions, narrate situations and life stories using extremely varied means of communication such as oil, china, pigments, glass, cement and coffee.
He currently lives and works in Foligno (PG)
His first exhibition dates back to 1997 and since then there have been numerous solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums in Italy and abroad.
