Maria Luisa Ossani was born in Faenza in 1954. After obtaining the diploma of art teacher at the art institute for ceramics "G.Ballardini" of Faenza, from 1977 to 1980 he attended courses in painting, sculpture and art history at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ravenna.
In 1984 she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
From 1976 he began exhibiting in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Forlì, Ravenna, Mesole (FE), Santa Sofia (FC), Forfimpopoli (FC) and Bologna.
He lived in Faenza, loved to travel, stayed for short periods in Paris and Canada.
In 2012, after a brief but inexorable illness, his soul left us forever.
His remains rest in a small cemetery on the banks of the Senio river.
Giordano Viroli presents it as follows:
.....What are the tempos of his current work, whether fast or thoughtful we don't know, you don't miss an anticipation of meditative silence.
An ephemeral delay on the sheet and the raised hand discovers the directional arrows. And as he traces the sign, he tastes, en amateur, his own wisdom.
Which is, let's face it, the artist's wisdom.
