I like the purple leaves of the trees that give a certain softness as warm colours to contrast with the stonework of the bridge.
Born in Dublin in Ireland, I started drawing when I was a toddler, at 5 years old school teachers complained when I would do nothing but draw, and I explained to my dad thay I intended to do my school work with him in the evenings!I would have liked to go to Art college, but the year of my Leaving Cert the art college was closed due to drugs etc; and my parents were against me following an art career, so I became a national school teacher,with the hope that I would lave a lot of time free for art;
Married young, I left Ireland for Africa with my french husband, but as he was a veterinary doctor and as I was also an animal lover, I spent many years as a vererinary assistant, part time teacher, mother and wife, and like so many other artistic people, could only draw in my free time, free time which I seldom had.
I have developed a personal style,according to what I admire in art,
