Denis Bi Assira is a multifaceted artist. The flat surfaces of the material suggest the gesture of the painter in his works with geometric and curved shapes.
At first, the horizon lines seem drawn by volumes evoking desert landscapes, wet coasts, high plains. The atmospheres correspond but are not identical. The artist tries to convey the intimate discourse he feels internally when he paints in his studio, face to face with paint. The resulting figurative abstraction evokes a poetic geography of unknown lands equal to nature alone.
Denis Bi-Assira is a Frenchman of Algerian origin. He currently lives and works in Vichy (France). His works are present in numerous private collections.
