I want to buy contemporary art online. I want to buy a piece of contemporary art. Maybe I should do it for myself, because I don't know how to live without my digital work either; I don't live with it at all.
I wanted to understand all of that, to become a better artist. So I joined Art Deco. A curated collection of works from the late 1980s or early '90s, plus art from artists from France and Italy. In a way, I got paid to spend time making my way around the world.
Then I started searching for art in libraries. I did it. I spent a lot of effort researching art online. I've been working for years to find stuff I wanted to use online so I started browsing the works of various artists for inspiration. I never really thought I'd just read a book or listen to a podcast or go shopping online. I thought I'd read just a few books I'd seen online when I was young. It seemed like I had all the information I needed.
But when I'd finished looking for an Internet platform like artmajeur, I felt like I needed to learn something.
I'd written dozens of books, but it hadn't given me any real insight on how that information might have gone in the world, or how I could get in contact with it. So I started reading old work online and doing it myself. I wrote my own books, which were actually more interesting, to get a better understanding of what was Art for me and how I was really interested in contemporary art, the whole journey of modern art.
