I am an experimental artist, which means I refuse to stick to one style and instead I spend hours in my studio trying out new techniques, mediums... I created this mixed-media piece during the lockdown, when we were forced to stay inside while flowers were blooming outside. I could go for some walks in the fields next to my home and felt connected to Nature like never before. Our Nature was finally breathing again thanks to the lockdown and seemed even more colourful than before.
That's what triggered the creation of "Ode to Spring", the first of a series of 3 floral mixed-media artworks.

Hello ! My name is Cyrielle Recoura and I am a self-taught and independant french artist, living close to Munich, in Germany. I work with two main techniques : collage and abstract painting. I am deeply engaged for equality and feminism, especially through the creation of "charity artworks", who enable me to donate money to heart-picked non-profit organisations.
