"Yann paints with wood and sand. Student painter Roger Toulouse, he chose to develop its own technology to sublimate the material.
Hervis borrows First, in the 80s, the way of design that earned him great encounters with Jean-Michel Wilmotte, Philippe Starck and style expert ès Andrée Putman who commissioned a portrait of Yves Saint-Laurent for designer boutiques in the US.
Soon, Hervis feel the need to explore different techniques, even invented.
And that's what he does! In his workshop Chécy it heckling material: glass, wood, steel, paper, bronze, improvised lab.
Using a press, it juxtaposes and glue layers of wood under vacuum before working
all with sand of Fontainebleau, projected at 8 bars.
