Breton from Morbihan, lover of Corsica, born during the war, Hubert Jarno is a painter who likes to work emotion in landscapes and scenes of life, most often with oil and brush, sometimes with a knife.
The search for colors is what fascinates him, in the nuances of water, reflections, lights.
Little by little, his art has modernized, and recent years have seen the birth of more graphic, more stripped-down canvases, with a clearly heightened sense of abstraction, as in "dawn", "blue white red" ; or "bastia".
The fact remains that his sensitivity is always expressed forcefully in his paintings: his sales bear witness to this during exhibitions in Paris (6 since 2005), or in the provinces. Numerous solo or collective exhibitions (Levall'art since 6 years).
