La protagonista de duelo, con ojos llorosos, sosteniendo un ramo de flores marchitas, que representan su estado de ánimo y su sentir, ante la partida de su amado que se eleva[...]

Esta obra ambientada en el tiempo de pandemia que vivimos actualmente, refleja a través de sus múltiples simbolismos la situación vivida por muchos.
La protagonista de duelo, con ojos llorosos, sosteniendo un ramo de flores marchitas, que representan su estado de ánimo y su sentir, ante la partida de su amado que se eleva al más allá, dejándola con el recuerdo del retrato de su boda, que brilla iluminada por la vela encendida simbolizando el amor eterno que trasciende esta existencia y el paso del tiempo, representado por la vitrola antigua.
El gato representa la comunicación entre las almas que se mantendrá imperturbable más allá de cualquier circunstancia.
El perro representando la protección, que desde el mas allá recibirá la familia de su ser amado.
La presencia de la gallina comiendo, hace alusión a la felicidad y bendiciones que aún están presentes mas allá de las dificultades y pesares. La fertilidad, el nacimiento de los hijos, representados por la carriola, siguen siendo la fuerza para luchar y salir adelante, dado que están las herramientas para elevarse sobre la situación, lo que está simbolizado en la escalera presente en la obra.

This work set in the time of the pandemic that we are currently experiencing, reflects through its multiple symbolisms the situation experienced by many.
The grieving protagonist, with teary eyes, holding a bouquet of withered flowers, which represent her mood and feelings, before the departure of her beloved who rises to the afterlife, leaving her with the memory of the portrait of her wedding, which it shines illuminated by the lit candle symbolizing the eternal love that transcends this existence and the passage of time, represented by the old vitrola.
The cat represents the communication between the souls that will remain imperturbable beyond any circumstance.
The dog representing protection, who from the beyond will receive the family of his loved one.
The presence of the hen eating, alludes to the happiness and blessings that are still present beyond difficulties and sorrows. Fertility, the birth of children, represented by the stroller, continue to be the force to fight and get ahead, since there are the tools to rise above the situation, which is symbolized in the ladder present in the work.

Soy una artista visual Chilena, nacida en la V Región y radicada actualmente en Puerto Varas, Región de los Lagos, X Región, Chile. Soy miembro de la International Association of Visual Artists (IAVA), organismo reconocido por la UNESCO y académica en la Academia Mundial de Arte, (mondialartacademia) con sede en Francia.
Mi nombre es Carol Claudia Alvarez Brantes. Adopte el nombre artístico de Claudine Brantes en honor a mi abuela materna Claudina Brantes.
Comencé a pintar de adolescente, cuando una enfermedad me obligó a guardar reposo, y ante mi ansiedad, mi padre me regalo colores oil pastels y un block de dibujo. Fue ahí cuando viendo revistas de arte, quede impresionada ante una obra de Modigliani, la cual decidí copiar, pero dándole mi propio estilo. En ese momento no lo sabia, pero comencé a definir mi estilo artístico.
Mis creaciones reflejan mi ser, mi pensar, mi sentir en determinado momento, y por eso me identifico con el arte Naif y el Expresionismo Simbólico, pero agregando contenidos de forma libre, sin estar atada a una etiqueta o estereotipo artístico.
Los momentos felices, los tristes, las angustias y miedos, todos ellos, como la vida misma forman una obra en perfecto equilibrio.
