Claire (Marie) Gay presents original, figurative works,
located at the border of the abstract, for some, in the
area of the imaginary and the dream.

Self-taught, influenced by Modigliani, Van dongen, Jawlensky,
and artists she discovered, she began painting in
oil in 2008, on canvas , and on canvas paper.
Painting is vital for me, it blooms, it brings me fullness,
but also arouses my curiosity about other artists
whether alive or not, known or unknown contemporaries,
classic...
The colors resonate in me, like a heartbeat...
It turns out that the paintings presented on Artmajeur were
