C'est un long voyage dans le bush australien qui m'a donné l'envie de peindre. J'ai sauté le pas à mon retour, au printemps 2005.

Autodidacte, j'ai commencé à peindre à l'acrylique, en reproduisant la technique pointilliste des peintres aborigènes. J'ai progressivement investi d'autres techniques : dessin au feutre ou à l'encre, aquarelle, création d'images numériques.

Ma démarche artistique s'appuie sur une recherche graphique à partir d'éléments tirés de la nature : écorces, fragments de bois, coquillages, feuilles, plumes, minéraux, végétaux divers. Je les transforme, grossis, déforme, agglomère dans mon travail, sans soucis de représentation réaliste.

Mon objectif est de parvenir à faire de chaque oeuvre un monde onirique ou hypnotique, avec une dimension d'immensité, dans laquelle j'invite le regardeur à pénétrer.

J'essaie de restituer une atmosphère hypnotique, qui brouille la perception, une dimension d'immensité et d'onirisme dans laquelle j'invite le spectateur à pénétrer.

Mon travail se caractérise principalement par la création de fractales, ou de motifs répétitifs, avec la volonté de couvrir le support de traits ou points précis, pour créer des textures denses et entremêlées.
