Une cabane tchanquée est une cabane typique du bassin d’Arcachon, On en compte aujourd'hui deux, et elles ont la particularité de « s’élever » au dessus de l’eau grâce à leurs pilotis. Les cabanes tchanquées n’existent que sur le bassin d’Arcachon et on les trouvent près de l’île aux oiseaux.
