Originally from the Bordeaux region, I graduated with a degree in art history and archeology from the Michel de Montaigne University of Bordeaux in 1999.
I subsequently turned to studies in conservation and restoration of works of art at the National Heritage Institute from which I obtained the diploma in 2006.

I worked for some time in as a painting restorer before moving towards artistic teaching in private and public art schools.

Essentially a portrait painter, I work on contrasts (colors, light -obscure) and matter.

My means of expression are drawing, painting and screen printing which allows me to synthesize my pictorial practice through a rendering that is both graphic and borrows from the dripping techniques specific to painting. I have a particular affinity with charcoal, which allows me to obtain both contrast and varied play of materials.

Artistic approach

My artistic approach questions the place of women today in society. Women in ambivalence, in search of independence and individual recognition, a strong but fragile woman because she is prey to societal violence. I am currently developing a series 'Amazones'. where I present female portraits, personifications of women, made in mixed techniques (charcoal and golden leaves mixed together).

This duality is reflected in particular by dualities of treatment: abstract backgrounds and rich in materials (flows and splashes of materials). While skin tones are treated in a more analytical way, as a state of affairs.
