En venant sur l’adorateur en train de prier avec ferveur à son dieu ou dans ce qu'il croit en laisse l'intrus avec un sentiment coupable d'un indiscret qui écouter derrière des portes closes. L'intimité de la situation semble crier de m’en aller. Une ambiance et silence ce qui était tellement impressionnant que je glissai tout simplement plus loin.

Richard Raveen Chester is a multifaceted artist. He developed a new form of printing using a digital technique and superimposing layers on heavy art paper. He specializes in contemporary simultaneous and continuous color printing. The artist reworks the print after the marouflage transfer onto heavy art paper to achieve the artistic effect.
His work is mainly inspired by his walks in the countryside and the sensations or feelings he experiences while doing them, and which he tries to share with the spectators of his works.
Richard Raveen Chester was born in 1954 in India. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication from Delhi University School of Art in 1976. He currently lives and works in Angers (France).
