Artist (Drawing, Photography)
Born 1970
"art is meant to spread"

Artist inspired by all the arts and philanthropy.

I have taken up pastel since March 2014 in a plastic research on faces and looks; questioning notoriety and what we do with it in a life.
Several activist projects have been completed, notably the "Heforshe Men" 26 portraits to support the campaign on gender equality launched in 2014 by the UN; or even "this is what a feminist looks like" which brings together 28 portraits of famous men who have declared themselves feminists.
Around the portrait, another project is underway: "Les belles wrinkles" which pays homage to old age .
A film buff from my early youth, film actors and actresses are my main subject in terms of portraits, as well as my favorite directors. Highlighting the raw material support from which creation springs, such as mass-colored bare paper or even raw or gilded wood, is part of my artistic approach.

The dry pastel technique has multiple possibilities and is non-polluting, it has become my favorite technique.

Other projects on the theme of the Château de Versailles, notably on the sculptures weathered by time which adorn the gardens or even film shooting scenes inspire me in this place imbued with profound beauty where I have worked as a documentalist within the Ministry of Culture for 22 years.
